New OCN training courses available 2023

We are currently planning and organising new educational training courses in media production which will include:

WEBDESIGN

RADIO

VIDEO

LIVE STREAMING

MUSIC PRODUCTION

PHOTOGRAPHY

Building on our previous delivery of a pilot photography course at Breen Centre, we hope to start the courses in March 2023 which will be delivered using ‘hybrid condensed learning’ approaches via online and in-person sessions. We will run  small group courses of six-twelve participants (dependent on subject area) as part of our ‘knowledge & social justice’ webTV channel (ConnectivityNI). Our aim is to help upskill marginalised communities in creative industries production techniques for ongoing creative engagement as Changemakers to help address social injustice, poverty, isolation and mental health issues etc within our communities.

We do not receive funding to deliver these programmes from any source, so we will offer a mix of paid and free places on our courses for those most in need. If you would like to make a contribution or ‘sponsor a place’, please get in touch and we may be able to offer you/your organisation free advertising on our new emerging community focused webTV channel. Thanks.
