School Uniform Day 2020

'School Uniform Day' 2020

Zachary's Inspiration

Five-year-old Zachary Wallace arrived downstairs ready for home learning last week ‘in his uniform’ giving his dad Darran an idea!

So we decided to reverse the process and ‘wear our uniforms’ at home to highlight the great work of our healthcare workers and to raise money for the local NHS and Care Homes across Northern Ireland.

On Friday 29th May 2020, we asked all school-age pupils in their house ‘wear their uniform!’.

Schools, families and parents donated as little as £2 to our JustGiving page! 100% of all money raised will go towards providing resources and equipment for our local NHS & Care Homes across Northern Ireland.

Thank you all for such a fantastic effort and to every school that took part on the day!

Our donation portal has now closed, however, you can still log on to see how we got on!

Our Final Total

We raised a fantastic total of £2930.00 which well exceeded our original total of £2000.00.

We can’t thank everyone enough for their generosity and support for ‘School Uniform Day’. We look forward to updating you all once we receive the money from JustGiving and divide it between our NHS & Care Homes.

Lots of Love,

Zachary & all the team!
